Preservation of the local heritage
The ASBL des amis du Chateau de Veves is proud to be able to promote and ensure the preservation of the local heritage, and in particular the Château de Vêves.
On the initiative of the Liedekerke Beaufort family, who have been keeping this heritage alive within the family for over 600 years, the ASBL has two main missions:
- To welcome families and children to discover the local heritage. It is very important to us to make people discover the HISTORY of the castle and his history throught the centuries. Our priority is for families to spend a moment out of time discovering the castle while playing together.
- Maintain the entire building (buildings, roofs, paintings, stonework, etc.) and the art-collections made available by the family.
Many thanks to our teams for the extraordinary work they do on a daily basis and to our sponsors who each contribute in their own way to these missions.
How you can help
- If you are passionate about history, the region or the transmission of knowledge, your time and skills are always welcome to help us improve our welcome, historical content or educational support material. There’s no such thing as a little help …
